Hannover Lodge is set on 120 acres in the fertile farmland region of the Hawkesbury - a region of New South Wales known for producing a significant amount of Sydney's fresh produce and farmland products.
It's the perfect environment for the thoroughbred athlete to relax and unwind during their spelling periods - with multiple expansive paddocks, quality improved pasture and ample space. |
When their spelling period is over, we provide a quiet and relaxed environment for horses to return to pre-training. With a great combination of stables and day yards, the pre-training horses gain the benefits of being stabled (with lights) during the nights and grazing during the day. For exceptional management and support during exercise periods, we have a five-star quality Killahy Equine undercover walking & trotting machine with a geo-tek surface, superb 800 meter sand track with elevation and treadmills.

Retirees
A horse’s state of health and well-being dictate retirement more so than age. Most horses adapt better when retirement happens gradually, through a slow reduction in activity level that is based on the horse’s physical abilities and mental attitude. As such, we provide custom retirement programs to suit your horse's needs.
